Seek wisdom to continue walking in the desires God has set apart for you. I love miracles and our God loves doling them out to His children in dire need. But miracles are not a long-term answer to our problems, especially financial problems. If we need a miracle, it’s because we’re in a mess.  Want out of that mess altogether? Want to live a prosperous, blessed life? The principle of “Seed, Time, and Harvest” is what you’re looking for.

Also known as “hard work and reward,” it is God’s ultimate highest for you: to see you plan, plant a seed, work the land, and harvest the success of whatever thing you choose to do. And when you succeed, share your prosperity with those less fortunate in the name of Jesus.

If this is your plan, you will not only need wisdom, but God’s favor on your life. 

Favor is the God-given ability to hook up with the right people at the right time to prosper. Favor is what you need when it’s time for a promotion and when you go to the bank with the vision for a new business. Favor is what you need to be the top salesperson. It is what God gives you to beat the odds stacked up against you.

May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of His servant.” – Psalm 35:27

The Bible tells us God is looking to favor you. First, you need wisdom, which God tells us in His Word, He provides liberally to all who ask. A good example is Joseph.

God gave Joseph favor when he was in his master’s house and when he was in prison. God gave him favor with Pharaoh himself. You see, Joseph knew how to be the perfect house slave, the model prisoner, and how to conduct himself around the king. Joseph was wise. Obviously, he was someone God could work with.
