Ecclesiastes 3:1

“To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”

Brew On This

Are you trying to harvest in a season when God is actually asking you to plant, wait, prune, or prepare?

Daily Devotional

Harvest Time

You cannot harvest tomorrow what should have been planted today. There is a rhythm to creation. Planting. Watering. Waiting. Growing. Then the Harvest. Each season matters. We often love harvest seasons because they are visible. Years of work finally produce something we can hold. But harvest never tells the whole story.

David was anointed long before he was crowned. There was a season for sheep. A season for Goliath. A season for serving Saul. A season for caves. A season for Hebron. Then finally, a season for Jerusalem.

Discern your season. If it is waiting time, remain faithful. And if it is harvest time, gather what God has produced. Harvest is not pride when you remember who gave the seed, sent the rain, and produced the increase. Celebrate responsibly and then share generously. Today’s harvest may contain tomorrow’s seed. God is the Lord of both. Trust Him in the field when it looks empty. Thank Him when it turns to gold.

Grounded In Faith

Father, give me wisdom to recognize the season I am in. Keep me from forcing harvest before its time or missing harvest because I am still thinking like it is winter. Teach me to plant faithfully, wait patiently, and gather gratefully. Help me steward every harvest with humility and generosity. I trust You with seed, rain, growth, timing, and increase. You are Lord of every season. Amen.
