The Bend
in the Road
Throughout Scripture, the Holy Spirit leads, comforts, corrects, and gently redirects God’s
people. His guidance isn’t always a straight road. Sometimes it comes as an unexpected
bend.
The Spirit led David through wilderness trails, hidden caves, and unfamiliar places where his faith would be refined. Those bends weren’t punishment, but preparation. The Holy Spirit sees what we cannot. He knows which roads contain danger and which detours lead us into greater purpose.
Don’t lose heart. The Shepherd
still knows the way. The Spirit of God has never misplaced one of His children. Trust His leading, even when the map changes. The bend in the road may be the very place where
God reveals His greatest blessing.
Grounded In Faith
Holy Spirit, thank You for leading me even when I don’t understand the road ahead.
Give me peace when plans change and confidence that every step is ordered by You.
Help me trust Your direction more than my own understanding and follow You
faithfully wherever You lead. Amen.
