Let the

Light In

There comes a moment when the curtain is pulled back. What was hidden is revealed. Revelation comes and what was whispered in prayer becomes visible in power. What was forged in secret is unveiled in the light of God’s truth. Darkness flees in all directions in the light of His unveiling. 

David knew this moment well. After years of tending sheep, running from Saul, and hiding in caves, there came a day when all Israel recognized what heaven had declared long before: David was God’s chosen king. God never intends for His work to remain buried forever.

Jesus said, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Truth doesn’t merely expose; it liberates. It tears away the veil of fear, shame, and deception so we can see both God and ourselves as He intended. David wrote, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” Light has a way of shrinking giants. Goliath looked enormous until David viewed him through the lens of God’s truth.  

Before God reveals His plans around us, He often reveals His character within us. When the light comes, don’t run from it. Walk into it. One glimpse of God’s truth can accomplish what years of human striving never could.
