Psalm 18:29
“For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall.”

What has God been developing in private that may now be needed for a public assignment?
Daily Devotional
Lock & Load
Heroes rarely rise because they wake up one morning feeling heroic. They rise because something bigger than their comfort requires them to stand. David did not walk onto that battlefield against Goliath looking for fame. He heard someone defying the armies of the living God, and something holy rose up inside him.
There are battles we should avoid, but there are others God has equipped us to enter. Discern the difference. Not every argument deserves your attention. Not every critic requires an answer. But when God gives you an assignment, do not keep polishing your armor while the battle passes you by. Lock and load.
Load your heart with Scripture, your mouth with truth, your spirit with prayer, and your mind with the memory of what God has already brought you through. Then stand. The next generation needs to see men and women who know what they believe and refuse to surrender sacred ground. You do not need Saul’s armor. You need obedience. Take what God put in your hand. There may already be a stone with a giant’s name on it.
Grounded In Faith
Father, prepare me to rise when You call my name. Keep me from fighting battles You never assigned while giving me courage for the ones You have. Fill my heart with Your Word and my spirit with holy boldness. Remind me of every victory You have already given. When the moment comes, help me stand faithfully, humbly, and courageously for Your Kingdom. Amen.
