Isaiah 6:8

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?’ Then I said, ‘Here am I! Send me.'”

Brew On This

Where is God calling me to show up today with courage, faithfulness, and a wholehearted “yes”?

Daily Devotional

Reporting

For Duty

Every day Heaven is looking for someone who will answer the call. When David heard Goliath’s defiant roar echo across the valley, he didn’t wait for someone older, stronger, or more qualified. He stepped forward. While others saw an impossible giant, David saw
an opportunity for God to reveal His glory. He reported for duty.
God has never been limited by a lack of power. He has always worked through willing people.
Throughout Scripture, ordinary men and women became history-makers because they simply answered, “Yes, Lord.” The Holy Spirit is still looking for yielded hearts today.
Never despise the assignments that seem small. In God’s Kingdom, faithfulness in the ordinary prepares you for the extraordinary. The size of your assignment never determines its importance. Your obedience does. Every act of surrender advances the Kingdom.

So when Heaven asks, “Whom shall I send?” let your heart answer without hesitation:
“Here I am, Lord. I’m reporting for duty.”

Grounded In Faith

Father, I report for duty today. Holy Spirit, lead my steps, sharpen my ears to hear Your voice, and
strengthen my heart to obey without hesitation. Here I am, Lord, send me. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Pray-A-Latte

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
