Psalm 40:2
“He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock…He has put a new song in my mouth, Praise to our God.”
Brew On This
What song of praise has God placed in your heart that you’ve been waiting to sing until your
circumstances improve?
Daily Devotional
Redemption Song
Many of the Psalms weren’t written from mountaintops. They were born in caves, deserts, battlefields, and lonely nights when only God could hear his voice. Yet somehow those songs never ended in defeat. They always found their way back to hope.
That’s what freedom sounds like. Freedom doesn’t deny the struggle. Freedom declares that God is greater than it.
The enemy can chain a person’s hands, but he cannot imprison a heart that has learned to
worship. Paul and Silas proved that in a jail cell. David proved it in the wilderness. Jesus
proved it on the Cross. Victory often begins with a song long before it appears in your
circumstances. Praise is not pretending everything is perfect. Praise is proclaiming that God is faithful, even while you’re waiting. Friend, keep singing. The King is listening.
Grounded In Faith
Lord, put a new song in my heart today.
Teach me to praise You before I see the answer and
to trust You while I wait.
Break every chain that keeps me silent, and let my worship become a testimony of Your goodness.
My victory belongs to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Pray-A-Latte
Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
