1 Samuel 18:5

“David behaved wisely… and the Lord was with him.”

Brew On This

Are you using what God has entrusted to you to multiply influence, or are you letting it sit idle?

Wise Guy

1 Samuel 18:5 tells us that David acted wisely. That was intentional. Wisdom attracted Presence. And Presence produces promotion.

David was a wise guy—skilled in obedience. Sharp in discernment. Aligned in covenant. He understood something powerful: in the Kingdom, wisdom is the doorway to favor. Because he behaved wisely, he had supernatural uncommon favor. Saul promoted him and the people received him. This favor, influence, and increase followed obedience and alignment.

A “wise guy” of the world, will hustle for position and try to manipulate every room. A wise guy for the Lord will steward God’s presence and make room for glory.

Wisdom isn’t flashy; it’s faithful. It’s consistency when no one is watching. It’s integrity under pressure. It’s honoring God when others are jealous and in competition.

My friend, keep your eyes on the prize. Be wise.

When you choose wisdom, you choose Presence. And when the Lord is with you, favor isn’t chased—it follows you into every room.

Grounded In Faith

Father, help me be wise in every step, stewarding the favor, opportunities, and resources You’ve entrusted to me.

Teach me to act with discernment, integrity, and faithfulness, walking in Your kingdom ways.

Let my life reflect Your wisdom and multiply Your influence for Your glory. Amen.
