Psalm 27:4

“One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.”

Brew On This

How can I be intentional about dwelling in God’s presence and making Him my priority?

The One Thing

The Lord is not impressed by how many things you chase—He is drawn to the one thing you desire. David had a kingdom to manage, battles to fight, and responsibilities stacked high, yet his heart locked onto one Holy pursuit: God’s presence.

Here’s the truth—what you desire most will determine where you dwell. If you desire success, you’ll dwell in striving. If you desire approval, you’ll dwell in performance. But when you desire the Lord, you will dwell in rest, authority, and intimacy.

God is inviting you today to simplify your heart. Let everything else bow to the one thing that matters most: being with Him.

Grounded In Faith

Father God, Your presence is my highest priority. I refuse comfort without communion.

I will not settle for routine when You are inviting me deeper. Lord, make my heart Your dwelling place.

Remove every distraction. My life is an altar to you, Lord. My heart is Your home.

Dwell with me, Lord, and let everything in me align with You. In Jesus Name, Amen!
