TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD
Today is the day to start paying attention what you are thinking about. Use God’s Word to renew your mind and know that your thoughts are His thoughts when you speak His Word. Prepare your mind to be a sanctuary for God today.
UNIDENTIFIED FLYING THOUGHTS
The next time you are surprised by the darkness of your thoughts, know this: Satan and his demonic forces have been with you since you were little. They can exactly imitate your thoughts!
Darkness loves to get inside your head and whisper things you mistake as your own ideas. Don’t believe everything you think.
“Nobody loves you,” they whisper. “Things will never get better,” they insist.
“My mess is never going to change,” you hear your voice say aloud.
The text time you catch yourself saying, or even thinking something like that, you need to ask yourself, “Who told me that?”
It wasn’t Jesus. Have you heard the 23rd Psalm? Of course you have. It starts out like this:
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul
The Word declares that the Lord is your shepherd. A shepherd loves and protects His sheep. He will take you to green pastures. Why? Because a pasture is a safe place where He can use His shepherd’s rod to fight off whatever is seeking to devour you, and His shepherd’s staff to keep you close.
He also promises still waters, or a peaceful place. You need peace after Satan tries to invade your thoughts. That’s why the next verse says, “He restores my soul.” That means He puts your mind back together after Satan has messed with it.
The bottom line is this – God is leading you into better places. Do you see it in the words above? He is whether you realize it or not. He wants to take you to where things make sense and you can have sanity again.
TODAY IS A GREAT DAY TO WIN THE BATTLE FOR YOUR MIND. RESIST THE DEVIL’S LIE THAT “THINGS WILL NEVER GET BETTER.” KNOW THAT GOD ALWAYS GIVES US HOPE FOR BETTER THINGS AND SATAN WILL FLEE YOUR THOUGHTS!
