Psalm 51:12
“Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.”

Is there anything promising you freedom while quietly placing you in bondage?
Daily Devotional
Fields of Gold
David knew both sides of life. He knew abundance, and he knew bondage. He knew victory, blessings, wealth, family, and favor. But David also discovered how quickly unchecked desire can become a prison. Bathsheba. Uriah.
One decision became another, and then another, until the king who once ran freely through the fields found himself trapped in a web of his own making. That’s what sin does. It promises freedom but builds cages. Jesus offers the opposite: “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Abundance is being free enough to walk with God without hiding. It is peace. A clean heart.
“Restore to me the joy of your salvation.” Jesus didn’t come to make prisoners more comfortable. He came to open the door. There is still joy on the other side of repentance. So don’t decorate the chains. Bring them to Jesus. There are fields of gold waiting on the other side.
Grounded In Faith
Jesus, You came that I might have abundant life.
Expose every counterfeit freedom and break every agreement I have made with bondage.
Create in me a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Restore joy where sin, shame, or compromise has stolen it.
Lead me into wide-open places of freedom, truth, and fellowship with You. Amen.
Pray-A-Latte
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.
