Matthew 6:8
“Your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.”
Brew On This
Am I trusting God’s knowledge of my needs—or am I still trying to explain everything to Him before I can rest?
Daily Devotional
God Knows
David discovered that God is not only the listener of prayers spoken clearly—but the interpreter of hearts that cannot articulate what they feel. Even in caves, even in hiding, even in battle-worn seasons, David knew this: God knows.
Friend, you are not forgotten in silence. You are not overlooked in confusion. You are not dismissed in delay. You are seen by a Father who knows you better than you know yourself and loves you deeper than you can comprehend.
King David understood this kind of relationship with God. There were seasons when words failed him—when grief, pressure, and pursuit left him speechless. And yet, even then, David didn’t walk away from God. He lifted a song instead.
Grounded In Faith
Father, thank You that You know what I need before I ask.
Teach my heart to rest like David did, even when words fail.
Let my trust be louder than my anxiety.
I surrender my understanding and lean into Your perfect knowledge and perfect love.
I trust You completely. Amen.
Pray-A-Latte
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
