New Paths

David understood what it meant to be led. That is the heart of a King—and even more, the heart of the redeemed—one who trusts the voice of God more than the strength of his own understanding. David was both shepherd and king. He knew the rhythm of guidance. Sheep don’t create the path; they follow the Shepherd. And the Shepherd never leads His people into destruction—He leads them into life, into Christ, into wholeness.

This is the gospel reality: Jesus is not only the One who forgives you—He is the One who leads you. He is the Way, the truth, and the life. Restoration in Him always comes before direction in Him. He heals the heart so the feet can walk steady. 

Kings don’t wander aimlessly—they follow faithfully. And in Christ, the redeemed don’t just wander less—they are made new. When your soul is restored, confusion begins to lift. Peace settles in. Clarity returns. Not because the terrain changed, but because the Shepherd is with you. 

God is not leading you randomly—He is leading you redemptively. Every step is marked by grace. Every direction is anchored in love. Every path ultimately points to Christ. So trust the road He is taking you on, even when it is unfamiliar. Especially when it is unfamiliar.
