Righteous Roots

Hey there, my friend. Let me tell you something powerful: righteousness can be visibly seen as fruit in your life, but it must start at the root. You don’t get righteousness by striving or performing. You get it by being rooted in the truth of who God is and who He says you are. 

Palm trees don’t panic in the desert. Cedars don’t crumble in storms. Why? Because their roots go deep. That is the kind of life God wants for you. When you are rooted in righteousness, His righteousness and not your own, you do not have to force peace, joy, or justice. They flow naturally. 

I have learned this over years of walking with King Jesus. When your identity is planted in the soil of God’s Word, you do not bend to the winds of culture or circumstance. You stand tall. You grow strong. You bear fruit in every season. It all begins underground, in the hidden place, where roots drink deep from the truth of Jesus until what no one sees becomes a harvest that everyone can taste. 

The deeper your roots go into God’s truth, the more unshakable your life becomes. You begin to live from a place of confidence, not confusion. You stop reacting and start responding. You become a shelter for others, a source of life and strength, just like the trees in Psalm 92. That is the power of being rooted in righteousness.
