James 1:5
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without
reproach, and it will be given to him.”

Am I allowing God’s Word or the world’s opinions to shape my decisions?

Let’s Be Clear
One of the greatest gifts God gives His children is discernment.
The enemy thrives in confusion, but the Holy Spirit delights in bringing clarity. When David
sought the Lord, he didn’t simply ask for victory, he asked for direction. Time after time,
God answered him with wisdom. Clarity doesn’t always arrive in a flash of lightning. More often, it comes one faithful step at a time.
The closer we walk with Jesus, the easier it becomes to recognize His voice. Like a
shepherd calling his sheep, His voice carries peace even when His instructions require
courage. Don’t confuse noise with guidance. The loudest opinion isn’t always the wisest one.
Spend enough time in God’s Word that truth becomes familiar, then when deception appears, you’ll recognize it immediately.
Ask questions. Seek wisdom. Pray before reacting. Wait before assuming. Discernment is rarely rushed. His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. He may not illuminate the entire road, but He will always provide enough light for your next faithful step.
Grounded In Faith
Lord, clear away confusion and sharpen my discernment. Help me recognize Your voice above every distraction. Give me wisdom to walk faithfully, courage to obey quickly, and peace to trust the path You have prepared. Amen
