1 Samuel 15:33

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”

Brew On This

Are there limits in your life that God established for your protection—or limits that fear built to keep you from your purpose?

Daily Devotional

Take It to

the Limit

There are two kinds of people who push the limits. One does it because they don’t want anyone telling them what to do. The other does it because they believe God can do more than anyone else thinks is possible. King Saul was the first kind. David was different.

Sometimes faith looks like rebellion to people who have grown comfortable. The world says,
“Stay where it’s safe.” Faith says, “Step where God leads.” There are limits God establishes for our protection, and there are limits fear builds to keep us small. Wisdom is knowing the difference.

Don’t rebel against God’s voice, but don’t be afraid to challenge the lies that have kept you
fenced in. Kick down the gates of doubt. Push beyond yesterday’s disappointments. Stretch your faith until it reaches the promises of God.
David knew that courage isn’t crossing God’s boundaries; it’s crossing into God’s possibilities.

Friend, don’t settle for a life that is merely safe. Live the life Heaven imagined when it called you by name.

Grounded In Faith

Father, give me the wisdom to honor Your boundaries and the courage to break through every barrier fear has built.

Help me obey You completely and trust You wholeheartedly.

Teach me to run toward the assignments You’ve prepared for me, knowing You go before
me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray-A-Latte

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
