Matthew 14:29

“And Peter came down out of the boat…”

Brew On This

What “boat” of comfort or familiarity is God asking you to step out of right now?

Daily Devotional

Out of

the Boat

Jesus came walking on the water and invited Peter into something impossible. “Come.” One word changed everything. Peter had a choice. Stay where he was or step into something greater.

David faced the same decision when he approached Goliath. Everyone else stayed behind the battle lines. David stepped forward. He left the familiar pasture and entered a new season of destiny. God calls us beyond what feels comfortable.

New beginnings rarely arrive wrapped in certainty. They usually arrive wrapped in faith. The boat represents what is familiar. The water represents what requires trust. The same Lord who called Peter is still calling people today. He calls us out of fear and into faith. Out of comfort and into purpose.

Grounded In Faith

Lord, give me courage to follow You wherever You lead.

Help me trust You beyond what I can see or understand.

Strengthen my faith and quiet my fears.

As I step into new beginnings, keep my eyes fixed on You and remind me that Your presence is greater than every
storm. Amen.

Pray-A-Latte

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
