Ecclesiastes 4:12

“A threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

What relationship or area of your life needs the Lord to become the strongest strand holding it together?

Jonathan stood with David when fear and danger pressed in. Nathan loved him enough to speak
truth when correction was needed. His mighty men fought beside him in battles that could not be
won alone. Each relationship became a strand of strength woven into David’s life.

Scripture tells us, “A threefold cord is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12). One strand may
carry weight for a season. Two strands provide greater support. But when a third strand is woven
in, the cord gains strength, resilience, and endurance.

David learned this lesson well. His victories were never the result of his strength alone. The sling
was in his hand, but the Lord defeated Goliath. The crown rested on his head, but the Lord
established his kingdom. Every triumph was the result of God’s presence woven through every
part of his life.

Perhaps today you feel stretched thin. Maybe one strand seems frayed by disappointment,
hardship, or uncertainty. Don’t try to carry the weight alone; instead, stay connected to
Him. Stay joined to those He has placed in your life. Stay woven into His purpose.

Grounded In Faith

Father, thank You for being the strength in every covenant relationship.

Weave Your
presence through my family, friendships, and calling.

Where there is weakness, bring
strength.

Where there is strain, bring healing.

Help me stay connected to You, the source of
all stability and peace.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray-A-Latte

Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
