Matthew 6:27
“Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”
Brew On This
Am I living like someone trying to control everything—or like a king who trusts the King over all?
Daily Devotional
The Driver’s Seat
Jesus asks a question that cuts straight through the noise of anxiety. Worry is revealed here as a worthless internal struggle that cannot add, change, or improve a single moment of your life.
Kingdom folks do not build their lives on worry. A righteous Kingdom is built on trust, wisdom, and Kingdom strategy. They don’t panic at the sight of conflict; they confront it. A Kingdom-minded heart rests in this truth: the King of all kings is already in control.
David had this posture. Before he ever wore a crown, he carried a heart trained in trust. In caves and fields, pursued and pressured, he learned that anxiety does not produce victory—Presence does. Worship became his strategy. Trust became his warfare. Rest became his strength.
Worry gives you the illusion of control, but steals your strength while doing it. Jesus invites you into something higher, active confidence in a sovereign God who governs every detail.
Grounded In Faith
Father, I release the weight of worry today. Teach me the posture of a Kingdom heart—resting in Your authority and walking in peace. Like David, let worship replace anxiety and trust replace fear. I declare You are in control, and I choose to live from that truth. Amen.
Pray-A-Latte
I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
