A Man After God’s Own Heart

King David wasn’t flawless—he was focused. His heart chased after God with reckless abandon, even when he failed, even when he flat-out rebelled. And here’s the miracle: grace covered his rebellion—not because it didn’t matter, but because David repented and kept pursuing God. That’s what set him apart. Heaven testified about David, calling him “a man after My own heart.” Not because he never fell—but because he never stayed down, and he never stopped running back to God. 

You are not disqualified by your past. You are qualified by your pursuit. God is not intimidated by your weakness or even your worst mistakes—He’s moved by your hunger to return. David repented quickly, worshiped fiercely, and trusted deeply. Grace met him in his lowest places because he refused to stay there. That’s the kind of heart that gets Heaven’s attention.
