Isaiah 43:18-19
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Brew On This
Where in my life do I need to stop striving and instead ask God to lead me into His righteousness?

Wells in the New Day
David understood something powerful: when God leads, He never leads backward—He leads forward. He leads into righteousness, into mercy, into the steady path of a fresh start written by heaven itself.
To be led by God is to be carried into goodness you could never manufacture on your own. It is the invitation of heaven to trust His direction even when your understanding is limited and your memory wants to pull you back. David didn’t pray for guidance because life was easy—he prayed because life required it. And he discovered that the safest place is not certainty about tomorrow, but confidence in the One who holds tomorrow.
The goodness of God is not only what He gives—it is where He leads. And where He leads, new beginnings are always breaking open. Yesterday does not get the final word when God is directing your steps. Regret does not get to define you when His righteousness becomes your path.
And here is the promise of Isaiah 43: even more than forward movement—God brings forth what looks like hidden life becoming visible. The wells that were buried beneath disappointment, delay, and dry seasons will spring up in the new day. What was hidden will begin to flow again. What felt empty will begin to overflow again.
You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you can know who holds tomorrow. That truth becomes stability in chaos, peace in transition, and hope in uncertainty.
Every time God leads, He is writing a new chapter. Every step in His righteousness is an invitation into renewal, restoration, and living water rising again. Because when God leads, He doesn’t just change your direction—He causes wells to spring up in your future.
Grounded In Faith
Father, lead me in Your righteousness today.
I surrender my plans, my fear, and my confusion to You.
Thank You that Your leadership always brings goodness and new beginnings.
Help me trust that You hold tomorrow and that Your path is always best. Amen.
