Qualified and Called by Love

You don’t qualify yourself—God does. 

The world measures worth by résumé, reputation, and results—but Heaven moves by calling, and calling is born out of love. Scripture declares He has saved you and called you, not according to your works, but according to His purpose. That means you weren’t chosen because you were perfect, but because you were loved. 

When God sent Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:7, He made it clear—man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. Why the heart? Because that’s where love lives. That’s where devotion breathes. That’s where surrender says “yes” when everything else says “no.” 

David was a shepherd boy, overlooked in the field while others stood tall in the house. Man saw insignificance, but God saw a heart after Him. You may feel overlooked, underprepared, or underestimated, but Heaven says otherwise. 

God doesn’t call the equipped—He equips the called. David didn’t step onto the battlefield as a polished warrior; he stepped out as a beloved son. 

Your past doesn’t disqualify you. It prepares you. Every battle, every failure, every lesson; it’s all covered in the love of God, working together for your calling. You are not here by accident. You are here on assignment: handpicked, heaven-loved, and purpose-driven.
