THE SONG OF VICTORY
I love Psalm 33:3 because I am a musician and any time I read the Psalms and it talks about singing or playing for the Lord, I am all in. I am also a numbers guy, and the number 333 is powerful. The number 333 means Learning What You Do Not Know, Crying Out to God for Something You Urgently Need. As we cry out to our Lord, He calls back, saying He needs to let us know something. I am always amazed at King Jesus and how much He wants to share with us. Because He is so willing to build that relationship with us, we must always strive to find time to worship Him. King David knew exactly what God wanted. Let’s take a look at Psalm 24: 1-10: The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. 2 For He has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the waters. 3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah7 Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah Psalm 24 is a Holy Hymn King David wrote for pilgrims to sing on the way to the temple. We have long since lost the music, but the words are still here for us. The Privilege of His Presence. The King of Glory and His Kingdom. Isn’t it wonderful to be a part of King Jesus’ life and co-heirs to His throne? Yes, it is! Declaration: God, Your promises are true. You will answer our prayer if we draw near to You.
