TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER
November 13, 2023 – 11/13/2023
11 – Heroes Rising
13 – Rebellion

1 Chronicles 11:13 (AMP) – He was with David at Pas Dammim [where David had killed Goliath] and there the Philistines were gathered together for battle, and there was a plot of ground full of barley; and the people [of Israel] fled before the Philistines.

The Scripture goes on to say, “But Eleazar and David stationed themselves in the middle of the field and defended it. They struck down the Philistines, and the LORD brought about a great victory.”
Have you every wondered how or why you have escaped great battles unscathed? Like the three Hebrew boys in Babylon, have you been able to say you’ve been through the fire, but you don’t smell like smoke? It is because King Jesus the mighty warrior has gone before you and won the victory!

Declaration: I declare that the LORD God Almighty always goes before me into battle. He is my shield and my buckler. He is the lifter of my head, and every mountain before me will become level ground! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

MIGHTY FOR BATTLE

So many times, we step onto a battlefield, and instead of seeking the Lord and trusting Him, we turn on our heels and run the other way. His word tells us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” If we trust Him, He will direct us on the battlegrounds we step a foot onto. King David wrote, “Blessed be the LORD my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle” – Psalm 144:1 (NKJV)

The Lord Himself is a Warrior; Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of Armies. We can trust Him to make us successful in the battles we face. Sometimes the battle seems unsurmountable, just like David and Eleazar facing the Philistine horde alone. But if we throw down our sword and run, then we end up giving away territory that the Lord expected us to possess. We’re told not to be overcome with evil, but to overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21) My friends, we are well able to take the land because the Lord Jesus Christ is with us, and goes before us to scatter our enemies!

When we come against the forces of the kingdom of darkness, we are not helpless!

Psalm 149: 6-9 (NKJV) – Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment— This honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!

Ephesians 6:10-18 (NKJV) – Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 (NKJV) – And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

The Lord directs us in our battles, and teaches us to war against our enemies. He equips us with His tools of warfare, worship, prayer and the full armor of God. If all of that wasn’t enough, God Himself goes before us to win the victory. Friends, do not be discouraged or hopeless! We have the victory! Remember, Jesus Christ is resurrected from the dead!
