TODAY’S PROPHETIC WORD

What a great day to say “Amen”, as in “Yes, Lord!”  Be ready to be in alignment with who I created you to be. Be ready for the wonder of My majesty to awe you and others as I work through you. Don’t look for the obvious as much as the simply profound.

THE GOOD STEWARD

Ever thought about the sovereignty of God? I have. A lot. What I’ve found is His sovereignty is so real. There is no doubt He is in control. But get this: He’s given the dominion of this world to us.

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” – Genesis 1:28

Being a good steward means living a life that glorifies Him. Until Jesus Christ comes back on a white horse, He’s leaving it up to us as to how much Heaven invades this earth in our family, church, work and our world.

That should blow you away. You see, you decide how much you brag on God and to whom. You decide how many hungry people get fed and how many poor folks have their needs met in Jesus’ name. It’s up to you and me to decide who hears a testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ and His saving grace.

Humbling isn’t it? And a bit frightening too. Being a steward over God’s territory means your job is never done. There is always more and better to be done. If that feels like pressure, it is – and it isn’t.

See, you can partner with the Holy Spirit to make the most of your efforts. So the question is, are you going to turn it over to Him or what?

I am. I’m going to turn my life and my efforts to find the lost over to Him. The life God has entrusted me with is my Promised Land. It is no longer an external thing. It is now an internal thing because the Kingdom of God is within me. It’s within you as well, so get to stewarding some things!
