Psalm 119:18

“Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.”

Brew On This

When was the last time you slowed down enough in Scripture to let God show you something instead of simply finishing your reading?

Key Change

Musicians understand a key change. The song is still the song, but suddenly everything lifts. The melody takes on new color. What sounded familiar moments before feels fresh again. Personal revelation can feel like that.

David constantly asked God to teach him, lead him, show him, and reveal His ways. He did not approach God as though he already knew everything. Revelation grows in humble hearts. Personal revelation does not mean inventing private truth. The Holy Spirit will never reveal something that contradicts Scripture. He illuminates truth that is already there and helps us understand how it applies to our lives.

When that happens, the whole song changes. You never know when the Holy Spirit may reach into a familiar verse and change the key. The song remains true. But suddenly you can hear it differently.

Grounded In Faith

Father, open my eyes to the wonders of Your Word. Keep me humble, teachable, and hungry for truth. Holy Spirit, illuminate Scripture and show me how Your truth applies personally to my life. Correct me where I am wrong and deepen my understanding of Jesus. Protect me from confusing personal opinion with revelation. Let every insight draw me closer to You and make my life more obedient. Amen.

Pray-A-Latte
