The Oil Spill
The anointing that covered David in his father’s house eventually overflowed into a nation. But there were years between the pouring and promotion. Every cave prepared a king. Every delay deepened dependence. Every unseen season strengthened character.
Maybe that’s where you are right now. Maybe you feel like you’ve been overlooked. Friend, don’t mistake waiting for abandonment. The oil hasn’t dried up. God remembers every promise He has spoken.
The Holy Spirit still anoints ordinary people for extraordinary assignments. Stay faithful. Stay available. Stay expectant. When Heaven says it’s time, no person can stop what God has already anointed. This preparation season you’ve been in has been leading up to one giant oil spill. Get Ready!
Grounded In Faith
Father, thank You for the oil of Your Holy Spirit. Teach me to wait with expectation instead of frustration. Strengthen my heart while You prepare me for every assignment You have planned. I trust Your timing because I trust Your heart. Amen.
