Throwing Hands
Whenever God brings His people into a new season, He also teaches them a new way to
fight. David understood warfare better than most, yet his greatest victories weren’t won
because he was physically stronger. They were won because he knew Who was fighting
beside him. Too often we throw hands with the
wrong opponent. We wrestle with people instead of praying, or attempt to defend ourselves instead of trusting God to defend us.
Kingdom battles are won differently. Prayer, forgiveness, humility, and praise are all warfare. Every time we refuse bitterness and choose obedience, darkness loses
ground. Jesus didn’t establish His Kingdom by crushing people. He overcame evil with
sacrificial love.
As God leads you into a new beginning, He also invites you into a higher way of fighting. Fight from victory. Fight with love. Fight through prayer. And remember, the battle ultimately belongs to the Lord.
Grounded In Faith
Father, teach me to fight the battles that truly matter.
Help me resist the
temptation to battle people instead of spiritual darkness.
Fill me with courage, wisdom,
and grace as I stand firm in Christ, knowing that every victory ultimately belongs to You. Amen.
