Righteous Right Hand
If you’ve ever watched a seasoned horseman work a set of reins, you know there’s very
little force involved. A gentle hand, a slight touch, a quiet confidence, that’s all it takes.
Strength under control is far more powerful than strength on display. David understood that kind of leadership.
He spent years watching Saul rule with insecurity and fear. David learned what not to
become. When the crown finally rested upon his own head, he knew that true authority
wasn’t about demanding obedience. True authority comes from reflecting the heart of God.
The Scriptures often speak of the Lord’s righteous right hand. It is the hand that upholds, delivers, strengthens, and saves. Maybe you’ve been trying to carry burdens that were never meant for your shoulders. Place them into His hands. The same hand that measured the oceans, hung the stars, and lifted David from the pasture to the palace is holding you today.
Grounded In Faith
Lord, thank You for holding me securely in Your righteous hand. Teach me to trust
Your leadership above my own understanding and rest in Your faithful care. Strengthen me where I am weak, guide me where I am uncertain, and let my life reflect the justice and
mercy of Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
