Stepping Up
There comes a moment in everyone’s life when God says, “You’ve learned enough to fight—now walk in My purpose.” Maturity means you’re no longer divided within yourself. You’re unified with the Lord’s purposes—focused, steady, and anchored. No more wishy-washy faith. No more being carried away by every emotion, every opinion, or every storm. You are called to stand firm.
King David wasn’t double-minded. When he faced Goliath, he didn’t waver between fear and faith—he was locked in. Why? Because his heart was unified with God’s purpose. The same David who worshiped in the fields fought with clarity in the battle. He wasn’t blown around by the crowd’s fear—he was steady in God’s truth.
Victory wasn’t handed to David—that’s not how battles are won. They are won through focused pursuit of the Kingdom. Maturity with The Lord is grown through focus and alignment and allegiance.
Step up in your faith. Step up in your focus. Step up in your maturity. You are not called to be tossed by the wind—you are called to stand like a warrior who knows his King.
Grounded In Faith
Lord, bring my heart into full alignment with Yours.
Remove every place of double-mindedness and distraction.
Make me steady, focused, and mature in my walk with You.
Let me not be moved by every wind, but anchored in Your truth.
I choose Your purpose—fully and firmly. Amen.
