Legacy of Provision

“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.”

Proverbs 13:22 NKJV

“A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children.” That is a powerful picture of legacy. I want you to know, obedience is not just about spiritual things. It touches every part of life. When I obey God, He gives me wisdom for finances, relationships, and decisions that impact generations.

Your obedience today can create provision tomorrow. And it is not only about money; it is about values, faith, and integrity. When you choose God’s way, you are leaving behind something far more valuable than financial wealth alone. You are leaving a heritage of righteousness that will outlast anything money can buy.

I have seen this in families who honor God. Their obedience becomes a covering for their children and grandchildren. It sets a standard that says, “We trust God, and we walk in His ways.” That kind of inheritance cannot be stolen, and it cannot be shaken. It is eternal.

You are building something that time can’t erase. Every choice to honor God becomes a brick in the foundation of your family’s future. I believe the greatest inheritance you can leave is a life that points to King Jesus, because that legacy will never run out or lose its value.

Brew on This:

What kind of spiritual, relational, and moral inheritance are you laying down today?

Grounded In Faith

My choices align with God’s legacy for my family and community.

I will leave a lasting impact as I choose to walk in God’s ways today.

The greatest thing known about me will be that I pointed people to Jesus.
