Righteous Rule
When the Bible says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice,” it’s not just talking about presidents, kings, or politicians. It’s talking about you. You have a sphere of influence, and God expects you to bring His Kingdom into that space. You are assigned to transform your world. Whether it’s your home, your workplace, your ministry, or even your friendships, you’ve been called to lead with righteousness.
Now, righteousness doesn’t mean you never make mistakes. It means you are aligned with heaven. It means your decisions reflect the heart of the Father. When you choose to forgive instead of holding grudges, when you speak truth even when it costs you, when you show mercy instead of judgment—that’s righteous rule.
I’ve learned that righteous leadership brings freedom. It breaks chains of fear and chaos. People rejoice because they feel safe, valued, and loved under righteous authority. But when leadership is selfish, corrupt, or prideful, people groan under the weight of oppression.
So today, I challenge you to rule well. Rule with integrity. Rule with compassion. Rule with the wisdom of heaven. You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be submitted. When you align with God’s ways, your influence becomes a conduit for joy and peace. That’s what righteous rule looks like.
