Welcome to 2026, the year of David! You may have noticed we gave the Morning Brew a fresh new look. Don’t worry, it still has the same coffee-flavored goodness you love, but we’ve added some powerful upgrades: 

1. “Brew on This” – a reflection section to help you go deeper and strengthen your walk. 

1. A prophetic theme for the year – The Heart of David, which is also the theme for our New Beginnings Prophetic Conference later this month. 

As we step into 2026 / 5786, the Lord is highlighting His covenant name, Yahweh, first revealed in Genesis 2:4. That name doesn’t just mean God is Creator; it means He is personal. He wants to have a relationship with you. Through gematria, the Hebrew letters of Yahweh add up to 26, and prophetically, that number is linked to the word beloved. That tells me something big: God didn’t just make you; He also cherishes you. 

This year, God is calling you to walk in the legacy of David, whose name also means beloved. David was a man after God’s own heart (1 Samuel 13:14), and his life carried the DNA of heaven in four dimensions: King, Warrior, Prophet, and Worshiper. These aren’t just titles, my friend. They are mantles, and the Lord is releasing them over His people in 2026. If you’re willing to receive it, this is your year to walk in the heart of David. 

David’s life mirrors God’s heart, and each quarter this year we’ll dive into one of his four mantles to reveal God’s justice, power, truth, and glory in your life. 

This prophetic year of David is a divine appointment. The Lord is calling His beloved ones to rise up with hearts like David: hearts that rule with justice, war with boldness, prophesy with clarity, and worship like nothing else matters. 5786 is more than a number. It’s a prophetic countdown to destiny.
