Hidden but Not Forgotten
David was out in the field when Samuel came to anoint a king. He wasn’t even invited to the lineup, but God had already picked him. You may feel overlooked, but the King of Kings knows exactly where you are. You’re not hidden. You’re being prepared.
David’s time in the fields wasn’t wasted. It was training ground. He learned to worship, to fight lions and bears, and to trust God in solitude. That hidden season was preparation for a public calling.
There are seasons of isolation, moments when it feels like no one sees you, no one calls your name, and no doors open. But in the Kingdom, isolation is not abandonment. It’s refinement. It’s where God shapes your character, strengthens your spirit, and teaches you to hear His voice without distraction.
You’re not forgotten. You’re being forged.
God is not ignoring you. He’s investing in you. The silence is not punishment; it’s strategy. Heaven is working behind the scenes, aligning your destiny with divine timing. Just like David, you may be tending sheep today, but you’re being prepared to slay giants tomorrow.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
