Provision Over Panic

Friend, here’s something you need to know: miracles are amazing, but they’re not God’s ultimate plan for His people. They are His provision for desperate times, not His preferred way of life for you. 

Think about it. Miracles usually show up when everything else has failed. You don’t need a miracle when there’s money in the bank or when the doctor’s prescription works. No, miracles tend to happen in the middle of chaos when the odds are stacked against you. 

It was that way when God parted the Red Sea. It was that way when Jesus fed thousands with five loaves and two fish. Miracles are powerful, but they often come from places of great need. 

Here’s the good news: God’s best for you is not living from crisis to crisis hoping for a miracle. His best is living in His Kingdom reality where His perfect government (12) and His perfect completion (3) are at work in your life every single day. That means provision before panic, peace before problems, and wisdom before warfare. 

Back in 1995 when Leanna and I were starting OpenDoor Church, we saw miracles because we were in a dangerous place. Everything was on the line. And yes, God showed up big time! But I’ve learned this: it’s better to live in such alignment with Him that you don’t need a miracle to survive. 

The enemy wants to devour what God is birthing in your life (Revelation 12:4), but he doesn’t have the power unless you give him permission. So don’t open the door. Trust in God’s authority and live in His abundance.
