Walking In My Passion

There’s something powerful about passion. It moves things. It stirs hearts, shifts atmospheres, and brings heaven to earth. Passion is the spark that ignites greatness long before talent ever shows up. 

I love to tell stories. I love to write. And while I may not follow all the rules of grammar or structure, what I do have is a fire in my bones to communicate the heart of God. That passion is what makes the message come alive. God loves to use passion to build greatness. That means you don’t have to be perfect to be powerful. You just have to be passionate about it. 

Is Willie Nelson the most polished singer? Maybe not. But his voice carries something that resonates with millions. It’s not about perfection. It’s about authenticity. It’s about heart. 

Do you want to walk in greatness? Start by walking in your passion. What lights you up? What makes your heart beat faster? That’s the place where God wants to meet you and use you. 

Love music? Write songs about Jesus and sing them to the brokenhearted. Love motorcycles? Ride into places where hope is scarce and bring the light of Christ. Love fishing? Take someone out on the water and tell them about the One who called fishermen to change the world. 

“You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and bring me up again from the depths of the earth. You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.”  Psalm 71:20-21 NKJV 

Your passion is a gift from God. It’s uniquely yours. And when you surrender it to Him, He will use it to build something beautiful. Something eternal. 

I’m not trying to be anyone else. I’m just being me. And that feels good. That’s what I’ve got to work with, and I’m determined to use it for the Kingdom.
