New Closeness

Like John at the last supper, people who live their life with their head on the chest of the Lord, in rhythm with the heart of God, are people with great revelation.

People who are after revelation are bold, childlike and prepared to go wherever He sends them.

Now, revelation doesn’t just say, “It’s out there!” Revelations says, “Go get it!” A revelation of the Word of God is not the endgame of our walk. It’s merely the beginning.

We’ve all been there. We’re reading the Word and suddenly, the Lord breathes upon the scriptures, and they come alive! We have a new understanding of God or our next step in the journey. The same thing happens with nature or the words of a song or sermon. All of a sudden, God is talking just to you! Something clicks within your soul. It moves down to your spirit and you “get it.” Supernatural revelation!

Now, revelation is not given just to add another wrinkle to your brain. God doesn’t care if you know about Him. What He wants is for you to know Him through personal experience. So, revelation is an invitation to step into what God says can be.

He invites you to take a step forward in His great plan for you. Revelation is the key to unlocking barriers so you can move forward in life and relationship with Him.

And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
