These are the critical last days when we are eagerly awaiting Jesus’ return, as revealed by the prophetic markers placed throughout the seasons, times, and numbers in the coming year. This will be a remarkable year, so let’s begin the journey with a look at what Yahweh is speaking through numbers in the Hebrew year, 5785. The anticipation of Jesus’s return should fill us with a sense of urgency and preparedness.
To search out the meaning and mysteries of the year 5785, we focus on 85 first. Pey is the 17th Hebrew letter and has a numeric value of 80. At this point of new beginning, let us join the Psalmist in Psalm 85 in saying, I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly. We will need His peace and the courage to stand and follow Him, even through some scary times. In this year, marked prophetically by 85, will you stand with your arms lifted high to receive the fullness of Holy Spirit and of the Godhead through Jesus? Take a deep breath, feel His presence, and know He is your hero that can change your life. Praise Him that He came to Earth; Praise Him that He is coming back!
Declaration: The Lord Jesus has rescued me and brought me into His Kingdom, where I am safe, and I know I am loved. In this coming year, I will focus on Him and follow Him as closely as I can.
