OVERSHADOWED

New beginnings often challenge everything in us. Change can be frightening and hard. Particularly when it is the Lord bringing you to a new beginning. Those times will show you just how much you really trust the Lord.
Have you had God Almighty speaking something brand-new into your life? Most of us have to have twenty or thirty visits before we finally decide to get with His program. Imagine Mary, the mother of Jesus. Gabriel came to her and declared she was the one who would give birth to the Savior of the world. In Luke 1, we can see she got it the first time she heard it.
“You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!”
She asked for more detail. Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.” The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. This means there are rules of biology but God’s got some different rules and He’s going to override those rules to accomplish His purpose. That’s what it means to be overshadowed by the Lord.
Once she had that, she gave her “yes.” Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” And then the angel left her.” Message delivered; Mission accomplished.
Praise God that when there are times in your life that you can’t fight your way out or figure your way out of; but God Almighty just shows up and He overshadows you.
When you are called into His purpose and plan; cry out to the Lord. Ask for supernatural overshadowing from His Spirit to accomplish Kingdom outcomes, and watch as they come true.
Declaration: The Spirit of the Living God is with me, in me and overshadowing me to accomplish His plan and purpose for my life. May it be to me they way He desires it to be.
