THAT’S THE FACT JACK

Do you know that your mind is reproductive?  Do you realize that you are producing things all the time from the arena of your mind?  You protect that part of your life with truth.  Not with fact.  With truth.

Truth always supersedes fact.  Facts are temporary, carnal, and subject to the perspective of the beholder, but truth is eternal and never changes.

It might be a fact that your husband has left you, but the truth is you are not alone (Deut. 4:31).

It may be a fact that those around you don’t have a clue about what’s going on in your life, but the truth is that God knows (Psalms 1:6).

It may be a fact that there is no physical way to realize your God-given dreams, but the truth is, with God, all things are possible (Philippians. 4:13).

Fox News Network gives you the facts.  The doctor gives you the facts, but it is the Holy Spirit who gives you the truth.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.  John 16:13 KJV

If we do not maintain truth in the middle of our mess, we will produce something in that situation not born of God – something illegitimate.  God help us to keep ourselves covered!

It is the belt of truth that holds our protective armor together under the pressures we face.  That’s why God told us to put it on first.

You need to be sure to stay in the word with Christ daily and put on your belt of truth daily.  Only visiting with King Jesus or delving into God’s Word daily can you be ready to cast away any demonic attacks the devil will send your way.

Declaration: I will stay in the word daily to keep myself covered in the armor of God because I know King Jesus is my shield in battle and the Holy Spirit is the truth-bringer in my life.  I will be sure to listen to the truth and not the facts.
