TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBERS

March 20, 2024 – 03/20/2024  3 – Perfect Completion20 – The Power of ExpectancyPhilippians 3:20-21 (NKJV) 20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

YOU AREN’T HOME, YET

Years ago, I heard a story of a young missionary traveling by train. He watched with tearful eyes as passengers exited the train and were welcomed by friends and family. The young missionary contemplated and then lifted a prayer to the Lord. I will never forget what he said, and his words continue to encourage me. He said, “Father, all these years, I served you faithfully. I have gone when and wherever you led me, yet I have never had anyone awaiting my return, such as these fellow passengers.” I was amazed by the Lord’s response: The Lord said to this young missionary, “My faithful servant, you aren’t home yet.” WOW!

Dear friends, is your citizenship in heaven assured? There is a cloud of witnesses eagerly awaiting your arrival. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of His household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the Chief Cornerstone. The Men of Galilee were asked in Acts 1:11, “Why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday He will return from heaven like you saw Him go!” Also, 1 Thessalonians 4:17, 18 tells us, After that, we who are still alive and left will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so, we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore, encourage one another with these words.

Declaration: Heavenly Father, I will not be consumed with the cares of this world but rather with Your Kingdom’s mandate to occupy and share the hope I carry, which is in You alone! Through Your hand of grace on my life, I will stand in the presence of kings (1 Samuel 16:22) and testify to Your power. As I follow Your will and Your way for my life, I increase in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Just as You did, Lord Jesus, You walked out Your assignment on earth. My fervent prayer is to be in alignment with Your Kingdom assignment. I stand on my tiptoes, looking up in anticipation of Your return! The sky isn’t falling. Your kingdom is coming!
