Know God’s Timing
2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV) The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
KNOW GOD’S TIMING
According to the Hebrew and Gregorian Calendars, 5784 and 2024, God is doing something new in our calendar year, manifesting right before our eyes. There is a change in the atmosphere, and things are shifting, and prophecy reveals knowledge upon knowledge and revelation on top of revelation.
Some of the revelation being revealed is there are all kinds of biblical warnings about the sobering responsibility of knowing God’s timing. Jesus preached more on the accountability of prophetic timing than any other biblical preacher.
There are examples of Jesus warning about prophetic timing that you can find in the Book of Matthew, chapters 24 and 25: The parable of the five foolish virgins (Matthew 25: 1-13) and the thief in the night announcement (Matthew 24: 42-43).
Watch, therefore, for the coming of the Lord. The signs and the calendar’s timing blend into one final act – Jesus’ Return!
Matthew 24:36-43 (NKJV) 36: But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch, therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
DECLARATION: I will fight the good fight of faith and lay hold of what God has for me. I will keep looking at the sky and stars in anticipation of Jesus’ return.
