Acts 2:22 (NKJV) “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—”
SIGNS, MIRACLES, AND WONDERS
Several 2:22 scriptures speak of the works of the Lord. Did you know the only scripture in the entire Bible that has all three words “signs,” “miracles,” and “wonders” is found in Acts 2:22?
American revivals tend to be poured out on dates with the number 222. History shows that on 2/22/1906, black evangelist William J. Seymour arrived in the city of Angels – Los Angeles, California, and the Azusa Street Revival, the most significant move of the Holy Spirit on this side of the world, began. Maybe it’s an American thing because 1776, our nation’s birthday, is 2 x 2 x 2 x 222, and George Washington’s birthday is 2/22/1732. Boom! There it is again!
Here are some other fun prophetic declarations you might claim for yourself if 222 is after you:
New Wine and New Wine Skins:
Mark 2:22 (NKJV): And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
Your Place in the Body of Christ:
Ephesians 2:22 (NKJV): In whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
Incredible Acts of Faith:
James 2:22 (NKJV): Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?
Incredible Stability in God in an Unstable World:
2 Samuel 22:2 (NKJV): And he said: “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer.”
Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV): 17 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Our Father is a God of action. He told the disciples to go and live, not just believe, have faith, and receive. A lot of Believers are just sitting and waiting for his return. Jesus said, “Occupy until I come. Do business.”
That means there’s something to do. James said, “Faith without works is dead. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments.”
I DECLARE IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS: I will walk by faith and not by sight and do the work you have called me to do.
