2 – A Faithful Witness and Being Set Apart
15 – Rest and Overcoming Death

Philippians 2:15 (NKJV) That you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

In the beginning, the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He lived in the beginning with God. God created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him. The Word gave life to everything created, and His life brought light to everyone.

John 12:46 (NKJV): I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

Isaiah 60:1 (NKJV) Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

So, all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord – the Spirit – makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His glorious image.

Through your interactions with others, a transformed life can result. Your good deeds can be as easy as serving at a food bank, taking someone a warm blanket, giving someone a warm meal, paying for someone’s groceries in front of you, tipping a waitress or waiter, a kind word spoken out, or even a simple smile.

Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Hebrews 12:28 (NKJV) Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.

DECLARATION: I will give all glory and honor to God, who sits upon the throne. I will worship Him, who lives forever and ever. Amen.
