TURN FROM GODLESSNESS TO RIGHTEOUSNESS
In 1 Corinthians 9:25-27 (MSG), Paul has sound wisdom when he says, “24-25 You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. 26-27 I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard for the finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No lazy living for me! I’m staying alert and in top condition. I won’t get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it, and then missing out myself.”
Sin is running rampant and even directed at our children. They are trying to enslave the whole world so that there will be no recovery. They have thrown all the evil possible at this generation. Could it be that the enemy knows his time is short?
Proverbs 8:11 (NKJV): For wisdom is better than rubies,
And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.
Parents need to pray for their children every day. You cannot be with them everywhere they go or even their whole life. But God can through His Holy Spirit. Cover them in the mighty wonder-working blood of Jesus. Pray for God to keep them pure. Build that hedge around them where the evil one can touch not. Be an example for your children to live because they are watching and will do as you do.
Prayer: Lord God, Your word says wisdom is a woman crying out by the open doors of Your saving grace. Let my voice echo Hers, calling all to “be of an understanding heart.” Incline my ear to wisdom and apply my heart to understand Your heart and Your hand. I cry out for discernment. Lift my eyes to see from a higher perspective. Give me knowledge of You, Holy Spirit, so I can help the lost understand the fear of the Lord in this day (Proverbs 2:1-5). Use me to give wise and godly counsel to all.
2 Corinthians 2:14 (NKJV) Now, thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ and diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.
It is impossible to govern the world without the Bible.
DECLARATION: I will live my life in a way that will be a witness to this lost and depraved world. I pray that men and women will be saved and receive restoration in Jesus’ name.
