Luke 12:22 (NKJV) – Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.”
“Mirror, Mirror on the wall”…We live in a culture where the focus is your image—what you look like, what you wear, what you eat, the kind of house you live in, to the type of car you drive. The world is constantly putting before us our need for more. However, their motive for marketing is built around lack, the very opposite of the Lord’s heart for us!
Declaration: Because I follow You, King Jesus, I do not have to be afraid. I live according to the Kingdom of God and its resources because I am His child. God Almighty is a good Father, and gives freely to His children. I will ask and receive, seek and find, knock, and the door will be opened to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
| HOW MUCH MORE? The Kingdom of God touched down on earth when King Jesus stepped foot on it. When Jesus went about doing good and destroying the works of the devil, He was proclaiming that the Kingdom of the LORD God had arrived. The kingdom of darkness was served notice, and the kingdoms of man were superseded before they even knew it. Matthew 4:17 NKJV, “From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.“ In direct opposition to the kingdoms and the systems of this world, God’s Kingdom operates at a heavenly standard. God Almighty tells us in Isaiah, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways.” With a King such as this, the Kingdom of God is far greater than the base ways of this world. As His children, you and I have access to this Kingdom and are commanded to live according to its ways and its systems. We’ve got the leg up! So when King Jesus goes on in the book of Luke and says, “Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?…Consider the lilies, how they grow…If then God so clothes the grass, …how much more will He clothe you,” pay close attention to His closing statements! “Do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.” – Luke 12 (NKJV) |
