Isaiah 12:4 (NKJV) – And in that day you will say: “Praise the LORD, call upon His name; Declare His deeds among the peoples, Make mention that His name is exalted.

“That Day” is now, my friends. We get to praise the Lord all the days of our lives for the incredible sacrifice He made in sending Jesus to be the ransom for our sin. Know this, we become like the thing that we worship.

Declaration: I will lift up praise to the Lord Most High because He has given me everlasting life. In difficult times, I will give Him a sacrifice of praise because this earthly life is the only place I can praise Him in the midst of suffering. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

PRAISE THE LORD

God isn’t a genie in a bottle. And although we tend to seek God out when we want something, He is always with us, even when we take it for granted. We often forget that He is with us in the details of our lives. When we’re confronted with disappointments, heartache, offense, and even our joys & wins, the Lord is with us.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” – Matthew 1:23 (NKJV)

If we know that He is with us in all things, then we can praise Him in all things. The Lord is not far away from His people. The word says that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. Set your heart on the Lord! Intentionally “shadow” the One in whom there is no variableness, nor shadow of turning. He is good. He is faithful. And He loves us.

God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. – Acts 17:27 (BSB)

Friends, the Lord God Almighty is worthy of our praise. When we set our hearts and minds on Him, it is for our benefit, not His. When we praise Him, we shift the atmosphere of our hearts and our surroundings, and things start to look more like heaven than they do like hell. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD! – Psalm 150:6 (NKJV)
