Matthew 11:30 (NKJV) – “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

The world would like nothing better than to see us bow down to it and its way of doing things. It wants us to take up its causes and forsake the ways of the Lord. It wants our agenda to line up with its global-woke agenda, but friends, that’s not you, and that’s not me. We are determined to be yoked with King Jesus and the Kingdom of our Father!

Declaration: I will not be overcome by the world. Instead, I will be overcome by the great love of the Creator God. I will experientially know the length, the width, height, and the depth of the love of Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
EASY YOKE
Jesus is humble and gentle at heart. He cares for us and has our best interest at heart. So when we enter into relationship with Him, He offers us a different way of walking through life than that which the world has to offer. The word asks, Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? Jesus gives us an upgrade to be yoked with Him.

Back in Jesus’ day, oxen were yoked together in order to transport heavy burdens. In order to teach a young oxen, often times folks would yoke them together with an older and more experienced ox so that they’d learn the ropes and be able to work efficiently. Jesus has walked the earth as the Son of Man. He was 100% man, yet 100% God.

He overcame this world, friends! And as our experienced elder brother, He offers to share our burdens as we share His yoke in relationship! He’ll show us the ropes and teach us how to go about this life in a manner that casts off the things that easily entangle us so that we can run our race worthily!

Jesus is a pro at carrying great burdens and overcoming them instead of being overcome by them. When we yoke ourselves to Him, we are given the power to overcome this world, just as He did.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? – 1 John 5:4-5 NKJV
