Matthew 11:27 (NKJV) – All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
The Old Testament is filled with the prophetic hope for a Messiah coming to redeem and restore. In the New Testament, Jesus fulfills those promises and assures us that He will return, and we will see the ultimate fulfillment of God dwelling with men here on earth in the New Jerusalem! Hallelujah! There is proof in the prophecy. When you can’t depend on anything else, friends, we can depend on the Word of God.
Declaration: I will stand on the word of God. I will believe His promises. I will not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth out of the Father’s mouth. In Jesus’ name, I will align my words with the Father’s and live according to His declarations. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
EVERY JOT
God’s word is infallible. If you want to see just how void of error, mistakes, or flaws that His word is, just take a look at Jesus. Jesus is the Word of the Father made manifest. John 1:14 (NKJV), And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Jesus is the One that was hoped for, the One the prophets wrote and preached about. How is it that the people of God knew to expect a Messiah? Because of the Word of God. The first time we see the Father speak about Jesus is in the early chapters of Genesis. Talking to the serpent, God says, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” – Genesis 3:15 The enemy did his very best to corrupt the gene pool down here (Genesis 6), but God was faithful to His word and brought forth the birth of King Jesus, the Lamb without blemish.
When we can’t bank on anything else, we can depend on the word of God. Too many throughout history have demonstrated to us the faithfulness of God Almighty to His word. When that ultimate promise comes and God dwells with man forever, even then, His word will stand true and undiminished. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” – Matthew 24:35 (NKJV)
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. – Isaiah 55:11 NKJV
