November 20, 2023 – 11/20/2023 11 – Heroes Rising 20 – Waiting and Expectancy
Acts 11:20 (NKJV) – But some of them were men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.
Have you desired in your hear to do something for the Lord, or have you been asking God about your calling? There is good news my brother and sister! You can start right now, wherever you are, whoever you are. Let your life be a demonstration of the goodness of God. Share the good news of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, encouraging people that there is a path forward in Him!Declaration: I will fan the revival fires and share Jesus. My life will be a demonstration of the goodness of God in the land of the living. I will maintain defiant joy so that I may have an answer for those seeking the source of my hope. Jesus will be know! Every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
HIGH AND LIFTED UP
The gospel must be preached to the ends of the earth as a witness, and then the Lord Jesus Christ will return. The believers from Cyprus and Cyrene began preaching about Jesus. As they did, brethren were added to the Church daily. Humanity can’t help but be transformed when they encounter King Jesus. The Bible says that if Jesus be lifted up He will draw all men to Himself. (John 12:32)
God is still doing miracles today, and He desires for the world to see and experience His goodness through His power! Where our humanity and willpower ends, His power begins. It is supernatural and leaves no doubt as to Who accomplished the breakthrough, the healing, the deliverance, etc. God is good and concerned with every aspect of our lives. He wants us to be complete and whole, lacking nothing and healed.
Remember when the Lord had Moses to lift up a brass serpent on a wooden pole when the people needed healing? (Numbers 21:9, John 3:14-16) Jesus Christ took on the sin of all humanity, lifted up on the wooden Cross, and He reconciled us to the Father. He brought healing where there had been sickness and disease, deliverance where there had been bondage, life where death had reigned. (Luke 4:17-21)
Be encouraged, my friends. You were made for such a time as this. By the Spirit of God, you are more than able to accomplish the good works He has prepared for you.
